Developed in partnership with our friends at Megawatt (Electruck4x4)This is a seat back mount, laser cut and bent from stainless steel by a Rivian owner located here in the Pacific Northwest. Rock solid once installed, it has a standard threaded stud (like you'd find atop a tripod) with many, MANY different uses.

For those of you with kids - throw an iPad mount on there like the Joby GripTight Pro mount.

If - like us - you've got two kids, hit 'yes' under the "Make it two?" option to get a second seat back mount for $20 more.

If you want to capture an interior view of the cabin while driving, an articulating arm gives you the flexibility to throw a GoPro/Insta360 right over your shoulder.

We're sure there's many other uses we haven't thought of yet - and would love to hear what you've got in mind!

Warning: Do not over tighten screws on install. Just keep the holder snug.

Throw in a washer.

I had the previous 3D printed versions which broke easily when I bumped them while cleaning out the back seat. The metal is an improvement, obviously much harder to break, but the edges are rather rough. One of these days I will get out the sand paper to dull it, but it's fine so long as I don't have to remove it. I had to add some paper spacers to get the threading right for the recommended mount to end up at the right orientation to even be able to tighten it. It works, but not as well as the old mount for the kids Fire tablet. My solution is getting a female threaded ball that fits the 1/4" 20 post and then I can use the Lamicall tablet mount that I used with the original mount.

Need some type of adjust For the threaded part.

The mount is good but, I’ve 2 problems - 1) the metal is too rough on my seat fittings, it scratches all around, 2) The threaded part needs some adjustability, as all the mounts are not threaded the same way and the screw is welded. There is now way to fix the orientation of the mounted iPad holder, unless you keep guessing how many O-rings it would take to make the stand 90°

Hey Maynak - appreciate the feedback. The metal shouldn't be scratching seat fittings as once it's in place and tightened down, there should be no movement. If yours is moving around, double check first that the little screws are fully tight. The feedback on the stud is well received - the next iteration on this will have a non-captive stud so that it can be turned and adjusted. When that happens, I'll kick another your way to make sure it solves the problem!
