Description:
About a year since launching our Premium Charger, we've iterated and refined even further - landing with this. Installation is easier than ever - remove the old charger, get your pucks cable managed, plug in, then just click the new charger in to place.
The topper is a black ash veneer. Not an exact match to the interior wood finish on the R1T & R1S, but close enough to not be awkward! We've etched a topo map of Mt. Rainier (our products are mostly made in it's shadow!) in to it for a bit of extra panache.
Base is 3D-printed, but unlike our previous Premium Charger, the 'bowl' portion is fuzzy wuzzy AF (As Flocked) so the only visible plastic is a small lip around the edge of the topper.
NO pucks are included. However, the design supports the Anker Qi2 Chargers, the Apple MagSafe Charging Pucks, or the JSAUX MagSafe Chargers (these charge at 7.5 watts for Apple devices). We are working to offer pucks directly, but setting up the wholesale arrangements is taking some time!
CUSTOM TOPO MAPS: If you'd like a custom map of your favorite local mountain - please select the "Custom" option and name the mountain in the order notes, or shoot us an email to info@s00nish.com with your request. It will add several days of processing time to the order, but we've figured out a way to more reliably do this! Note - it does come with additional expense to help cover commercial software licensing + our time.

- Locking Plates for Magsafe pucks or Anker qi2 chargers.
Is this the "Final Form" of S00nish's wireless charging aspirations?
Almost certainly not! Especially as Rivian's production methods change and they introduce new stuff for us to work with. For now though, we think this is the best aftermarket wireless charger on the market.
If Rivian never provides an OEM fix, this is the best option. Seamless and looks better than the rubber covered factory one. Like the multiple charging puck options. Support small business.
Install was simple and instructions are clear. The phones no longer slide around while driving.
Installed easily but final fit and finish was a bit off. Probably because 3d molded. Seems to me if all three oem tabs were used, would fit better.
Hey Diego - thanks for the feedback! Steve is working with you to make sure there's not an installation issue (lots of folks - including me - tuck the cable underneath the base on their first go around causing a fitment issue) and if it's in fact an issue with the charger itself, we'll of course replace it at no cost to you. We've had hundreds of these units installed in customer vehicles without issue, so I have no doubt we'll be able to resolve. Thanks again!
It is a great product. I tested out on most phones I can get my hands on. The only phone I have an issue with is the Fold series from Samsung. The fold with a case on will not work due to how low the camera sits it will move if there are any bump.
Hey Tommy - thanks for the input! Good to know the Fold series might have issues. We iterated many times to make the 'granola bowl' that the camera bumps go in as big as possible while not positioning the pucks so far towards the back that taller phones wouldn't be able to properly connect and charge. Exceedingly difficult to account for EVERY edge case! =)
This product is superb! I installed it with the Anker MagSafe chargers and it just works perfectly and looks beautiful. Easily installed by following the step-by-step tutorial on the S00nish YouTube. Well done S00nish! Well done!
