If you're anything like us, the "carabiner" that comes with the Rivian key fob is a nuisance, rather than a benefit. This CNC'd aluminum replacement sets out to solve that problem.

It looks great, feels great in the hand, and adds a basic key ring so you can slap whatever carabiner you want on there, or just attach it to your key ring without worrying that it's going to slip off at some point.

It does require disassembling your existing key fob (step by step video to come) - but rest assured, it's an easy process.

Unlike Henry Ford, we think there should be some color options - however, the price gets extremely expensive without minimum order quantities (MOQs). Full transparency - the product validation tests we ordered were hundreds of dollars each.

Note: Along the bottom edge, near the key ring there is a small gap to help ease removal of the battery cover.

Great once installed

I think this accessory is a must have. I had some trouble getting it to fit my keyfob, it just wouldn’t go in so I had to file the piece. Once I did that it worked and definitely enjoying it!

Looks good but not quite right

It fits really well, but something’s just not quite right because the outer rubber pieces don’t fit flush like the stock one. Sticks out just a bit and it’s kind of annoying.

Nice quality

I highly recommend this fob surround. It's easy to install, looks great, and makes the fob a reasonable size in my pocket. The included key ring is a good size to hang the fob on a small key holder, but if you add a house key it's slightly too small to make the key sit flush against the fob in your pocket without adding another ring. It's also nice that the red surround is a close enough match to the red Rivian option.
